Hytale Cursebreaker Announcement Key Art

This artwork was painted for the announcement of the video game Hytale - reborn - acquired from Riot Games by Simon Collins Laflamme.

It is a tribute to the original vision of Hytale, with a voidy twist, suggesting our players will face great dangers in Orbis.

I wanted to show some of my process through sketches and unfinished work.
The first ones are really rough speed paints, made in a few minutes to try to nail the atmosphere! Funny to how it developped in the end.
